Gdansk, Dmowskiego 10 A / i B, 80-264 Gdańsk, Poland
Due to the current situation and in response to the needs of people who escaped from the war, we are starting meetings with the Polish language! We help no longer with a sprint, but with a marathon.
There are already a lot of people in the Tri-City who want to learn the basics of the Polish language, which is a gateway to easier finding in the new reality. We know from experience that the google translator does not always do the trick, and sometimes it only takes a few words and it is easier to get along with the person you have taken in under your own roof.
Polish in a nutshell is a total of 5 meetings with teachers of Polish as a foreign language. It covers topics such as: introducing yourself, health, how to get there, etc. The basics of the basics that will allow you to get along before one goes to a typical language course.
The last two meetings in April are a continuation for the group that started learning Polish in March. However, you can sign up and join at any time.
Dates of classes:
April 7 17-18:30 (Thursday)
April 14 17-18: 30 (Thursday)
23 April 17-18:30 (Saturday)
April 30 17-18:30 (Saturday)
If it happens that it is not possible to continue the classes in the group or something unforeseen happens, please contact us, in exceptional circumstances, we will help you do the classes. Please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org, if the registered person will not be able to come. There are a lot of people willing to do so, and thanks to the fact that you warn us, someone will have a chance to take their first steps in Poland! Thank you in advance :)
Classes will be conducted by Ms Karolina, a certified teacher of Polish and postgraduate students in teaching Polish as a foreign language (as part of internships at the Academy of Polish Language, Polish school for foreigners, located at the Earthosphere). Everyone contributes to this initiative selflessly.
People with coughing, fever or other symptoms of illness, please stay at home. There will be an opportunity to use our course when you recover :)
We also organize other activities that integrate the Ukrainian-Polish community. Check our fanpage and, of course, like the page to be up to date with the events we organize :)
See you later!
